Before/After School Clubs

Breakfast Club

Our breakfast club is open from 8am each day. It is run by Mrs Mahmood and Miss McLuckie. Children receive a healthy breakfast and remain in breakfast club until 8.45am. The cost of the club is £1.50 a day. We ask that you book your child into the club each day to make sure we have adequate supervision available.

Morning Sports Club

Morning Sports Club is an opportunity for children in Yr1-Yr6 to access daily sport and exercise before the start of the school day. This is a free club, led by our Sports Leader Mr Holmes. Morning Sports Clubs runs from 8.15-8.45am in the Main Sports Hall. Children take part in a range of sports and activities, which are advertised in the weekly newsletter, including:

  • Football,
  • Basketball
  • Netball
  • Cricket
  • Mile a Day
  • Boccia / Curling
  • Freddy Fit
  • Dodgeball
  • Multi-skills
  • Tennis / Badminton

Sparkles After-school Provision

Sparkles is an independent after-school child-care provider that runs a paid after-school club at Mayfield from 3.00-5.30pm each day for children from Nursery to Year Six. Please contact the main school office or Sparkles (07460 323731) directly for further information.

Enrichment: School Clubs

Mayfield prides itself on the enrichment opportunities it provides, to develop a wide range of children’s skills, talents and interests.

Typical examples of clubs run throughout the year include:
