Year Six

Welcome to our Year 6 class page! We are Mr Roberts and Mr Stevens, and together with Mrs Howard, Mrs Davies and Miss Wild we will be your Year 6 team for this academic year. Between us we will be working with targeted groups of children to get them ready for both their SATs and the next exciting step on their educational journey into Year 7 and Secondary School.

We have already made a great start in Year 6 and feel extremely lucky to be teaching such a wonderful class in their final year at Mayfield. The children have started the year with a mature attitude and they certainly seem more than up for, and ready to face, the challenges and experiences that Year 6 has to offer – we have all mentioned how much of a brilliant year we feel we are going to have!

Please keep checking back on this page for updates and further information. Due to Year 6 being able to walk home from school, we appreciate you won’t always be able to speak to one of us at the door. However, please be rest assured that one of our team will contact you if we ever need to speak to you. We are also available via telephone (please contact the school office) if you wish to speak to any of us regarding your child. 

All of us look forward to working with you and your children this year and we are thrilled that we have the opportunity to work with them and help them make those final developments and steps of progress that they get to make with Mayfield Primary School.
